Thanks for the reply. Voltage was checked while ignition on but not running. Also checked Voltage at battery read 12.7V. Could Cap be bad??

yes, my mono amp works at first than shuts down, my multi-channel is still on but almost no sound from speakers and none from sub.

What should the voltage reading be to my amps from my capacitor, getting 6.34 ?

My new Alpine MRP-M650 (blue)light goes off shortly after starting car. Light on MRP-F450 stays on. Sound to all speakers distorted and low low volume. Checked fuses on M650 and look ok. All connections checked. Any ideas??? Thanks

Have a single 10" sub..Alpine SWR-1022D.... Will my Alpine M-650 amp be stable if my sub is set up at a resistance of 1ohm?? Instruction sheet amp rates at 2ohm or 4ohm. Thanks
