u dont need to do that just wire the positive and negative from one of the sides to one amp and then wire positive and negative from the other side to the other amp....that is if if is a dual voice coil

u should be able to what is the max height in your trunk? u only need 16 inches in height but u probably will only be able to go with a sealed enclosure

if i were u i would rewire the sub down to 1 ohm if u can and get lower gauge wire like at least 4 gauge wire running to the sub and get a higher fuse because otherwise u will probably blow the 50 amp fuse if u havnt already.
