ok great, thanks for all the advice. i have two of the M3s and they are both individually rated at 300/600WRMS (or i guess 600/1200 combined) and the kicker amp you are suggesting is rated at 750WRMS would this be enough for my subs?

I'm not exactly sure. I have talked to someone at a local audio shop and he said i needed a 2 ohm stable amp but i just dont understand about the channels. I found a 1 channel Soundstream amp that will give 1100WRMS @ 2 ohms is this a reliable brand?

i have two memphis m3 subs that give 300/600WRMS and are single voice coil. i need an amp that will give 800-1100WRMS but what i dont understand is should i get a one channel amp that gives this much power or a two channel that gives this much power? very confused help would be appreciated

OK. What is the difference between 2 ohms and 1 ohm? I found a memphis amp and it gives 1000W @ 1 OHM, but only 600W @ 2 OHMs.
