using WinIsd pro. 2.9 cubic foot box ported to 28 hertz using twin 2 inch ports calls for a lenth of 5.95 inches. Or if using a singe 4 inch port a length of 11.91 inches.

why don't you put a smaller diameter port which usually means the length gets shorter at the same frequency.

Ok..I understand now. I ended up making a rectangular port equivalent to a 5.65 round port. Finished making a box for 2- 12W0's in a 4.4 cubic foot box (2.2 per driver) in a common chamber. Ported to 31 hertz with a single rectangular port. The box sounds good. Thanks for all your help.
