My bass sucks! I have 1 Alpine type R 12" sub in a q-logic box sealed and an Alpine F357 5 channel amp. It is in the back of my x-cab truck. The bass sucks, it sounds like it rumbles to much. I just got done installing my system . It sounds pretty good except the 6.5s I put in the door seem to have little midbass. They are mounted in the door in a set of custom 1/2" plexiglass adaptors. Should I have sealed or attempted to seal the door? Do I need to install some sound deadening...

Well when I had 10s I set mine to about 80 or so. Of course personal preference is what really matters. If you set it to high your subs will sound terrible. Scott

I will have the Alpine 6.5" in the doors, do you think that they will do pretty good with midbass or will they need some help? If I put some midbass drivers in the rear doors what size do you think? Do they make a 6" woofer?

Should I put some rear speakers in the back doors of my truck or just use the Alpine comp set only? Maybe I should purchase some midbass drivers and put them in the back. Originally I was going to put a set of Alpine type R coax in the back but that doesn't seem to get alot of positive remarks...
