Yeah i'm trying to, right now I just want to get a decent amp for less then 250-300 and i'm trying to separate the crappy amps to the good ones.

So I just got two 12w7's in a sealed box and i'm going to need an amp soon... I'm kinda split between these three -Crunch GroundPounderV2000.1D -Crunch P1500.1 -Orion Hcca-D2400 I'm almost set on a A/B amp not class D. I plan on getting a better amp later on but just need one to run these...

Alright so lets say i get an amp thats 1 ohm stable at 1200rms and at 2 ohms its 800rms...I would be getting 1000rms for one sub or would it be inbetween 2 and 4ohms because its a 3ohm sub? Sorry, kinda new at this..

Alright thanks guys, So would you say two underpowered 12w7's are still better then a single strong 12w7?

So i'm looking into getting two JL 12w7's right now and know that they are 3ohms a piece, so finding an amp that will power them will be a bit tricky. I also know that the JL 1000.1 is a good choice since it can run anywhere from 1ohm to 4ohms but I dont want to spend 600 bucks on a 1000.1 JL...
