I have the remote wires going from the head unit back to the amps. I actually ran a 14awg blue wire not an 18awg. Would this be causing to much power? I do not believe the wire is running to the battery under the hood.

When the head unit is on the amps stay on. They dont turn off until I turn my car off. What is the REM line? Sorry im kind of new at installing car audio.

Well I walked out to my car this morning to a dead battery. Here for some reason my component amp which is an mtx404 did not turn off. Can someone help me out on why my amp didnt turn off? Thanks Again

Thanks Guys. I Think Its The Remote Turn On Cause I Went Home And Took The Remote Wire Off Of My MTX404 Amp And Put It On The 801D And Nothing Happened. Now My Subs Aint Wokring Or My Speakers So I Think Something Is Lose.

I did check the fuses they seemed fine. How do I repair the mosfets? Is it something I can do or a professional? I didnt check the remote turn on maybe something came lose ill check that when I get off of work today. Power and ground wires are good ive checked them.

The amp wont turn on at all.

Well I was driving along the other day and all of a sudden my subs just stop working. I have 2 12" Mtx 8500 Thunders Powered by a 801D Mtx Amp. I figured maybe the amp just overheated and needed to be cooled down so I let it sit a couple days but nope the subs still arent going off. Can anyone help

I would go ported. I had sealed and it just didnt do it for me. I went to ported and it sounds much better in my opinion.
