I would like to know, the best way to screw down an inverted alpine type r. I have 2 x12 inch subs, that doesn't look like the rubber will hold. you can actully run the screw right through the rubber. help!!
Will the quality of sub, or how much the sub move effect how the amp performs?I just installed an alpine pdx 1.1000 which is 1000 watts x 1 and it seems to be only sound and feel slightly better than, when I had it hooked up to the sub channel on my pdx-5, which was only rated at 422 watts...
This is the 2nd amp I installed. will be stacking 2 more pdx 2.x150,and 2 more pdx1.1000.also waiting on a 6 x12 fiberglass enclosure for alpine type r's.
No I have 2 type r subs, that I want to invert. how do I wire them for 2 ohm, they are 4 ohm. also, do I still connect the banana plug to the 2 center connecters?

pioneer-premier deh-p600ub,alpine spr 17s components,allpine spr69c for rear fill,an alpine pdx5,and have budget right now for 1 more pdx 1.100 and either 2x12 type-r,or 3x10 type r,w/fiber box. should I go with? right now kust plain ol xsite 12's.
