Has the quality of CD-RW degraded over the years?

Thanks. The lowest I can go is 4X and that's what I used. There's no option to go lower than that. Yes all 5 were Finalized. They all used default ISO9660 Joilet format. My HU supports mp3 player that as well can handle VBR. Strangely what I have as old as 15 years old CDRWs, they still work...

Has the quality of CD-RW degraded over the years?

Hi, I have a Pioneer DEH Head unit in my suzuki car. It's been in use for a while and has a CD player. The specs say it can read CD-RW (Rewritable CDs) and up until now I never had any issues. Realizing that the existing CD-RW discs are now old, I bought a pack of 5 verbatim CD-RWs. I followed...

What is size / spec of screws that fits HU in the DIN Slot?

Hi All, Anyhow I finally had an opportunity to remove my current Pioneer HU. The screw that came with it measures about 11mm in diameter. 8mm in threading depth and the hole on the mounting cage is about 5.5mm wide. Here's a photo. Just in case anyone is interested!

What is size / spec of screws that fits HU in the DIN Slot?

I can always use the screws from Pioneer HU. The intent of this thread was to know if there's anything as a standard size and if it is, what is the tech spec like e.g. M8 - 8mm just in case! But I think diameter should be > 5mm. Anyhow once I remove the current HU, will get some clarity surely.

What is size / spec of screws that fits HU in the DIN Slot?

Thanks. Yes, it seems I will have to measure it literally using a scale. In my region, there are local shops (non-branded) who keep general hardware & electrical stuff locally made. The thing is unless I go to big departmental stores, I am not needed to buy a full pack of screws, These small...

What is size / spec of screws that fits HU in the DIN Slot?

Hi, When it comes to well known international brands, the Head Unit package contains the required screws meant for the Rear DIN install. That's how my Pioneer HU came with, several years ago. Now I plan to install a HU by a brand locally made in my country, but the thing is poor customer...
