What size fuse? Wiring large enough?

So I have 2 SA-12s, 4AWG Rockford power wiring, a BRZ1700.1d amp and a 100a maxi fuse from my last system. I am running the amp at 1ohm (1700w), what size fuse should I use? Is the 4 gauge wiring fine for my applications?

Hello, First post here looking for advice.

So...How much are you budgeting AS A TOTAL for the following: -Amp Kit/wiring -Box -Amplifier -Sub(s) Are you against building a box? 3/4" MDF will cost you about $35 or so, then a few bucks for Woodglue/woodcaulkingstuff, and a few bucks for wood screws. I built my first box for my...

HELP! Building tomorrow, need input on box tuning/siz tonight! Dual Sundown SA-12's.

Sorry for the obnoxious title, but the planning has to be done today as I go off to College in like 2 days... I'm building a new box, and picking up another SA-12 (already have 1 at the moment) running off a BRZ1700.1D. Sundown recommends 1.75cuft per subwoofer, I assume this is after...

3 Free 0GA Amp Kits up for grabs

Need to replace the 4 guage Rockford wiring on my amp right now, and run the Big 3 in my car since the battery is all the way in the trunk which is a long run. I have heard mixed reviews about AT, so I'd like to see for myself without risk, and decide if they are the next company with a special...

New box build, Bracing? Double layering? Resin?

So, on my last box I built (myself, not too long ago for the single 12), I believe I used Loctite, then predrilled holes and used wood screws to tighten it down further. Are you saying avoid the Loctite and go with plain wood glue? I also used a shitton on my 45's to keep them in place, as...

New box build, Bracing? Double layering? Resin?

Haha ok I get it no resin :P. Will 45's in the corners be enough bracing or do I need dowel rods? If so where do I put em O.o

New box build, Bracing? Double layering? Resin?

Ok guys so I am getting another SA-12, which means a new box (as I have 1 at the moment). It will be roughly 4ft3 and tuned to 34hz slot ported. Now, would coating the interior with fiberglass resin help improve box rigidity? What about bracing, and how would I go about doing that? Would...

Do I NEED to do the Big 3? New Battery? Or can I upgrade as is...

It seems to me that the wire from the battery to the Alternator is already 4AWG, so perhaps just upgrade the ground? Will that help at all?

Do I NEED to do the Big 3? New Battery? Or can I upgrade as is...

I feel like a battery upgrade/2nd battery would merely strain the Alternator. True false?

So you didn't run it to the alternator? And what battery did you pick up, is it the same model as your original or did you mismatch it?

Should I add another battery or replace the one that is in it now? And what is recommended, without breaking the bank? I can't afford a new battery, big 3, AND a new box + sub though being in college stinks haha

Do you know the username or a thread he's posted so I can contact him about it?

Also, should I fire them to the rear, or forward and seal off?
