    4 ohm subs will be plenty loud...and personally i would go just 2 unless youre competing in a sound competition....or if you really want some good bass, just get 1 kicker comp 12" cvx (750w RMS 1500w MAX) and run it with your amp....good luck

    im thinking about buying 2 kicker 12" CVR 124. guy at the audio store said that the 12" CVX's would sound alot better for the amp that i have. my question is, are the CVX's worth spending the extra money, or should i just stay within the price range for the CVR's? Amp im using: Precision...

    ive got 2 amps, both PPI's 1) PPI PCX 4125 ... 1000W 100A max draw 2) PPI PCX 2400 ... 1600W 160A max draw ive been to quite a few moblie audio shops and some of them said that these amps can be grounded right in the trunk with the 4 gauge ground wires comming out of the amp, and others...

    whats a good sub out on the market? i like a crisp, clean, hard punch sounding bass. what can i get within the 500W or 600W RMS range? and also should i go with two 10's or one 12" sub? i appreciate the help, thanx!

    ok cool, cause i read somwhere online that when you wire a sub in series, it doubles the resistance and halves the rms wattage at the same time.......dont think the guy who posted that knew what he was talking about anyways... im running a PPI PCX 2400 bridged for the nice 4ohm 1600W channel...
