That's what's missing. The unit resets, first screen asks what language you use, next screen ask about your phone, and that's it. There should be a third screen asking to choose between Standard and Network.

The NEX part of AVH-4200NEX stands for network. The manual for this unit talks about setting the band pass crossovers if set for Network mode, but it sort of skims overthe material. Which is strange considering that feature is part of the products model name.

Tried resetting my AVF-4200NEX to enable Network mode. Tried Menu reset, tried the little button on right side of face, and tried disconnecting the battery ground. Nothing works. First screen asks about language,, then the phone screen, then the warning screen with an "OK" button...that's it...

No output from tweeters. Pioneer 4400 to Zapco ref 1000.4 to Morel 6 1/2 Hybrid components. Running active. Had high end shop set gains in amp and crossovers and eq in HU. suddenly no output from tweeters. Using a multimeter, I checked output from amp. 6 1/2 were getting power, but tweeters...

That That's exactly what my HU does, or is set up to do. Four channels: one for R tweeter, on for L tweeter.one each for the L and R mids.....and the sub. That's what "active" means. The amp can't send a signal to a speaker it isn't receiving from that channel.

So many questions: What do you mean the amp may be "burning the tweeters"? Like it'd letting power meant for the woofers to bleed through to the tweeters? Also, I did mention it's a Zapco Ref amp. Although, it is a little over 15 years old. And remember, when I switched the signal cables and...

For a while, the left tweeter would lose power maybe once an hour it was running. Increasing volume would bring power back to the tweeter. It didn't only happen after things got "warm"...sometimes it would happen within minutes of turn on. That went on for a couple of months, but now it never...
