Hooked up a different head unit and that solved the problem! Other deck must be junk I guess

Also I bought the amp used and was shown it working but I've never used it myself so I can't guarantee it doesn't have a problem.. Same with sub.. But I doubt this is the case. Just wanted to throw that out there

No not really. It's just a loud like crackly sound. Almost Sounds like plastic slapping.. But I don't see any spots that seem to have the seal cracked or anything

I did. The sound is coming towards the back of the sub. can't tell exactly where tho

So what should I do about it? Is there something I can do to figure out what's wrong. I'd also rather not take it somewhere to get checked.. Too expensive
