    Wow...I can still log in!

Got a happy b-day message from the site and figured I'd try to log in and it still works! I've been out of the CA scene for a bit but looking to get focused back on it. I still run the same set up in my signature too, although I need new 5.25s. Just thought I'd say hey to all those vets still...

    1000 rms at 1 ohm

the cadence dakota is a very nice clean strong amp...and over 90% efficient. i bought one because my A7hc went out, but i got it repaired so now i have no use for my dakota. not sure if i really want to sell it just yet. i only used it for a week. if you got a good deal locally, i'd do it.

Like to give some props to Cadence...

I'd like to give the guys at Cadence a big pat on the back for repairing my A7hc and getting it back to me quite quickly. Very prompt service and pleasent to talk with. Now I just have to find something to do with this new Dakota since the A7 is back working...

    USAmps MD22...MOSFET replacement

Thanks for the concern and I am well aware of all this. I honestly don't expect it to work. I called USAmps/REaudio and they said anywhere between $100-$200 to fix it. So I figured I'd take a whack at it. If it doesn't work I'll try to find someone local.

    USAmps MD22...MOSFET replacement

I have a feeling I just pushed it too hard. I was trying to substitute it for a 1200w amp that is in the shop. Going to replace the MOSFETs and the CAPs and see what happens. Thanks for the Mouser hook up Joel!

    USAmps MD22...MOSFET replacement

They are labeled as SFP50N06 but I can't find anywhere to purchase them. And I know you can mod this amp into an MD23...figured while I have it apart, and if it's not too much more, I might try that too. I'll be the first to admit, I know little to nothing about how this all...

    USAmps MD22...MOSFET replacement

The MOSFETs on my MD22 are fried out and I can't find replacements. Can anyone help out? Also, what goes into making it an MD23?

    Cadence A7Hc Diagnostic Light...

Well, I finally got around to taking the amp apart and found the issue. There was a screw with a small brass/copper spacer that holds the board in the center of the amp...it goes form the board to the heatsink. The spacer is between the back side of the board and the heatsink. Well, some how the...

NEW US Amps MD22 - fried within the first 30min...WTF??

Hey what's up man, it's been awhile. I don't see any damage to the caps. but the 'deth smell' is coming from where the pwr/gnd/rmt meet the board and the 8 caps right there.

NEW US Amps MD22 - fried within the first 30min...WTF??

I got a new MD22 from someone on here about about 5-6 years ago. I had an old amp go out so I though I'd hook this one up until I got my new one. (It's pushing my dual 2ohm 15" Brahma 1st gen...it's seeing 2ohm/channel. gain @ 1/3, bass EQ about 1/3, x-over @ 100hz, SSF off) It played fine for...

Question about sub box for diamond audio d61204

i'd be interested to know if the area of that port on the inside of the box is the same as the area outside the box...that's kinda crutial. i'd also like ot know how the correction factor was figured out, if it was at all. since the back of that box is angled, so would the internal port...
