I think I got screwed. Sub played fine. Never though to ohm test the coils. One reads 2 and the other reads 46. Wtf.

I had a sundown x18 v1 that had a black coil never got warm played perfectly fine. I traded for an x12 v2. It also has a black coil. I'm just wondering if these are normal. It also plays fine.

Highly doubt your getting high excursion out of that with 600rms check the box for leaks could be air moving in and out of the sealed box. Watch it play to see if it's hitting anything in the trunk. Pull it out and free air it to help pin point the noise.

I like the butterfly latches. Use them on the sides or tops or wherever you find a spot that all the boxes have in common. Very durable and stay locked. butterfly-latch-2

I bought some subs in a box with slot port to one side. You can clearly see the sub that isn't loading off the port wall moving much more than the other sub.

Picked these up today for 220. Not sure of a good deal or not. The hx2s are a little beat up on the back side but sound great. The 700s looks great.

Even if they had a high fs it ain't happening. Chris made a joke about doing a tline for my 18 with an fs of 17. Came out to 199.5" of port length. Not to mention your port has to be the same as your cone area I believe.
