it runs to the vehicles fuse block. I am going to leave the original wiring due to its being in good shape. Does the alternator need to have its output regulated by that fuse block or can i shoot it directly into the battery?

I have a 01 durango....My alternator's power runs to the fuse block then to the battery. Should i follow the same path with the new cable or should I go directly to the battery?????

Just ordered 25' of 1/0 cable , a new battery terminal, a big in-line fuse holder, ring terminals and a distribution block from KnuKonceptz to do the BIG 3 and I'm going to run some 1/0 to my amp or amps. I think I'm going to try to run the 3 W6's off of that 1000/1 tomorrow. I believe I can...

i thought the w6's were 400 rms.......I'd also need another 1000/1 or somethin comparable to give them that kind of wattage

the problem is that the 1000/1 cant handle 3 of them properly, or can it.....and later on if after i do my electric upgrade I might want to add another w6, i don't want to have to buy another amp. I'd rather get one quality amp that'll be versatile enough to handle my wattage needs.....

would the big 3 help out enough to buy me time to save for a HO alt. Can you recommend a good low cost HO alt spot.

I think I'm definately going to sell the 1000/1 and then buy the kx or zx 2500 just in case i buy another w6 or 2.

what do guys think a fair price for a used 1000/1 with minor cosmetic wear is?

good advice.....whats the difference between the kx and the zx.....where are they available for 500. I saw a zx on ebay for 938 plus like 20 for shipping(wish i bought that instead of the 1000/1 originally.) are they both a true 2500 watts rms?

how do you guys think a xxx or Btl or TC 5200 on a 2500 would compare to my w6's
