Sorry to say that we didn't beat the heat, but it's reasonable to say that everyone that I met today sure made it bearable. I had a great time meeting up with some old friends and making new ones, you all are good people. I got to hear some real nice sounding cars today, thanks to all who let...

Wiring 3 Subs In Series And Parallel

Didn't look close enough at the diagram and totally broke it down backwards (admitedly never considered that series option), it's 6ohm. So we're all on the same page.... series all 3 = 12ohm parallel 2 and series 1 = 6ohm series2 and parallel 1 = 2.666ohm parallel all 3 = 1.33ohm

    Need help

Unfortunately you have a mismatch in equipment to do what you want to. You could continue to run each MTX sub per channel, or you'll need either a different amp or different subs.

Wiring 3 Subs In Series And Parallel

12ohm is possible, but not 6ohm. I just posted the equation. Here's a good write up on the subject... http://www.termpro.com/articles/spkrz.html

Wiring 3 Subs In Series And Parallel

Your on the right track, just keep the subs in seperate enclosures. Although not the optimum configuration, there's no reason it won't work and can't sound good, one of the subs will be simply getting more power......big whoop. Edit: I just looked back at your diagram, wiring that way will...

    Nothing wrong with MTX amps

    Sub power question...

The 1ohm wiring with 1000w is easily the best best way to go for SQ, having all that headroom available is nice, keep your gain low.

    Thoughts on MTX

Never had any issues with MTX amps and every one I've owned was underrated.
