I think it does help. I am going to buy a 250 drive and give it a shot. They are amazingy cheap now anyway. Kenwood has a disc that will format what you plug in, so I assume that is either FAT32, or a Kenwood format of some kind. Thanks

Ummm, lets see, Hifonics vs CDT. $65 vs $600 when I bought them. Not much of a choice to me. These are premium speakers. Anyone will attest to that. Anyone know about the advertising, or specifically about CDT's advertising?

I have been sitting on a pair of speakers while I rebuild my car. They are CDT Audio Ef-61fg/tw25 Pros. They are advertised as 170 watts RMS capable, does that mean that each can handle it, or that I am really looking at 85w RMSx2 handling?
