yeah it is possible....if you are clipping the signal...it's like sending a DC signal where it clips causing your voice coil to turn into a toaster

i had min 2cu ft per sub tuned to 30 hz and 1.3 cu ft. sealed per sub and even sealed they pounded and hit the low lows

depends what you're going for....i had the SEs and i loved them..ported and sealed... one the the best sounding subs i have ever owned...phenomenal SQ and got pretty loud...the SXs are louder but from what i heard won't have the natural bottom end that the SEs do...but either way RE is a good...

i'll agree that if you aren't going to amp the comps...it 's not really worth it...you can't get the full potential using the HU power...even a 100-125 2 channel would wrok wonders with a nice set of comps

those are some sharp looking x-overs....for the price they better sound ****ing good...wait the picture confuses me?!? it has the x-over coax 6.5 and what looks like a 5x7...is that the way it is suppose to be? but i want to try the ID horn comps...that'd be something different

you could do it but do you plan on bridging the speakers to the amp...or is it a mono full range??? but it can be done...like posted above..it will be a weird ohm load depending on your speakers...

don't quote me on this....but i think i remember reading that a sub with higher Qs work better in IB set-ups...can anyone verify that or am i just imagining things?

well just decided to join up here....i mainly over at carstereos.org but i don't know whats going on with that? it's been down for almost a week..if not already so i decided to join up here...i looked at a few other forums and decided here looked best to me! i am looking forward to learning...
