You fuse ONLY to PROTECT the wire, they make 450amp anl style similar fuses. You can simply make your own fuse block for it. What happens if something cuts through the jacketing or the wire some way grounds itself out? Thats a big hunk of wire that will start on fire. Not to mention welding...
