sorry in advance this may be a dumb newbie question I have 2 rca cables going to my amp left and right channel, I have the speaker terminals bridged to give the sub twice as much power, which side is it playing? left or right? or is it playing both together ? its a single sub setup.

thanks for everyones help,, i ended up fitting a " 10 right in the middle directly behind the diver and passenger seat. lpf at 80 and i have the front polk speakers hpf at 80 right now it sounds pretty **** good , if anyone has any tips on different settings i should use let me know.

how much better do you think it would sound if i kept most of the lows off those speakers and managed to fit a 10 inch sub in somewhere within the car?

well i dont have a sub, no room for one its a small lil mercury capri. and these 2 lil 6.5 speakers actually have good bass( to me anyways) they dont really rattle crossed over at 80... but sound much better playing the full spectrum.(besides the rattle)... its more of a vibration that comes...

I used offbrand dynamat, 3 layers and put some foam in some spots. and used mdf spacer with clay polk db651 60 watts.. only using half volume on some songs it sounds awsome.. but any rap song with heavy bass notes like most of eminems stuff just rattles my entire door panel. What can i do?

30 watts? that is exactly what the pioneer 2 ways are for 39 dollars at walmart... DO IT or you can spend 100 dollars on speakers that do 60-100 watts, but you dont have that kinda power

well i just did get new 6.5 speakers 60rms. but they rattle my doors SOOO much unless my highpass is on like 125.. so i am gonna try to deaden my doors tommorow. and i like the speakers right behind the seat for that extra punch/ full sound feeling, Its just the way i like it, but i just gotta...
