    Its a vaxuhall astra (UK) nothing wrong with them just got subs so wanted better sound from the front, only thing is finding tweetera thats fit directly into the OEM tweeters

    Sorry I thought people would understand what i meant , yes running an 8 gauge to my vibe amplifier for the 6x9's And thanks il just use the 4 gauge earth wire then

    Hi Is there any difference in sound if you solder speaker wire to the subwoofer or just use electrical tape ?

    sorry but there actually out the car at the moment as i was selling my car but have decided to keep it im thinking of running a 4 gauge for subwoofers and a 8 gauge for the 6x9's as two four gauges are to big and pops one side of my trim panel off which is annoying

    Thanks for that I'm going to keep them because to me they do make a difference to vocals Another question is , I've got two amps and running two 4 gauge wires to both 6x9 and subs Would it be better running one big cable and using a distribution block if so what size of cable ?

    I think it sounds just fine But someone said theres no point in having the 6x9 cause the do "nothing" How much difference do they actually make and are they worth having ?

    Whats peoples thought of 6x9's My current set up is Pioneer head unit Two JBL 1100watt with a 1600w pioneer Vibe 6x9 with a vibe amp Some people say theres no point in the 6x9 Whats your thoughts?
