So there is no options. I could pull the factory unit and replace with an Alpine?? It is not possible to control a kenwood CD changer with an Alpine head unit?

My factory was a 1-1/2" din option. I bought a 1 din radio and the mounting kit has a pocket in it. Maybe I can cut a hole and leave the ipod in the pocket? I would just hate for someone to see and steal it.

I will be getting a Apline iDA-X100 Which has a USB type connection for the Ipod. I am assuming the radio will have full control of the ipod, so I won't need to see it? I would rather have it hidden anyway. Where are people mounting or placing the Ipod? In the glove box?

I was able to find the PAC steering wheel control that is supposed to work. I will see what happens when I install it. I think I found a wiring diagram for my CD changer. I am assuming I can just splice this into the Alpine unit?

Are you kidding? It is the best thing on my car. It is a Crown Vic and I actually have to reach for the stereo. Having volume and able to change stations and CD tracks on the wheel is great. I am afraid I am going to wear the buttons out before the car. Now back to the important questions...
