****n no way.. but your alpine's weigh around 44lbs each.. my kickers are 30lbs.. don't know if that makes much of a difference.. but its crazy how u gained 50 miles per tank..

a Power Acoustik BAMF 5500w my system probably weighs around 140lbs .. based on the weight specs i read up on different sites also.. if i change the alternator in my car to a 140w amp alternator.. you think that will take some load off the engine?

Hey I just got 2 Kicker 15" 2000w each so 4000w power and a 5500w amp and i was really curious to find out if this kind of power would decrease the fuel efficiency of the car? i have an amp alternator.. yellow top battery .. and big 3 wiring.. but this question kept poppin up in my head...

So I just got 2 Kicker 15" 2000w each subs and a power akoustic bamf 5500w amp with an alpine 9884 deck i'm about to go to this place called Factory Auto Sound to install everything but i was wondering.. is there anything else i'd need for the sound system? i know i need a box for the subs...
