So I have a fully completed resined box that i would like to lengthen the port on it any tips to do so ??

I basically just want my box to play low , and Ive read that a larger box allows for lower tuning, any help with box dimensions for a lower tuned box will be greatly appreciated , it’s in a 2014 vw polo hatchback

There’s the box in the car still have enough space to build a bigger one running a 1200rms amp off it at 1 ohm

T Yes I increased the width of the port opening to match the front panel so I could use the side wall and then lengthened it to match the tuning

I built a 2.25cuft the exact litres of the manual and tuning to the manual and it doesn’t sound As good as it did in a generic box I have but , I feel it can def be better as I had the sx which is rated at 400 rms and nearly half the Xmax excursion ,in my car before which sounded a hella lot...

That’s the specs I used it sounds **** Balls

Internal dimensions 40cmX40cmX53.5cm 2.25cuft of just the sub area excluding port and sub displacement Port 5cmX40cmX82cm tuned to 32hz I also rounded as much as I could port wise

Ok so I built an exact box to the ported box specs of the manual 2.25cuft , port tuned to 32hz , but it sounds like ass, worse than a box I built for the sx what would you guys recommend box size for like 30-32 hz tuning I like em low
