So while hooking up amp tonight I broke the outside plastic divider on the positive terminal. Is it still ok to use amp? The wire is in no danger of touching the remote because the inside peice is still intact. It also is not close to the fuses without it on the outside. Thoughts?

Update, did get cd player to power on, but its asking for the security disc. I called Eclipse today & they gave me the codes to reset the deck. Did cost me $30. Oh well @ least its on & working.

You should be able to use a 2 way fuse block, pretty inexpensive although I do not know if they make 0 to 8 gauge. It might be easier to just run 4 gauge to the kicker amp.

So I bought an Eclipse cd5425 on ebay, but when I installed it into my car it does not power on. Everything as far as I can see is installed correctly & I checked all the fuses. I have had a lot of different CD players in my life, even broken ones but never one that would not power on at...

I am currently in the process of hooking up a second amp. I got the knucpnceptz dual amp instalation kit. Its a 0 gauge to block & then 2 4 gauge to both amps. Do I need a second distrobution block for grounds, or can I just run 2 seperate grounds from amp like normal?
