    AQ SDC2.5's

I am in Austin. I don't really understand your measurements, how much trunk space would I need for an enclosure that offers those specs?

    AQ SDC2.5's

Oh, my fault. It's a '93 Chevy Caprice. There's plenty of room width and height wise. Depth wise I will need to take out my spare and mount it on the back of the car if the box is too big.

    AQ SDC2.5's

So I may be buying two SDC2.5's soon. SDC2.5 (Street Duty 2.5) Series Subwoofers I really want the 15's. Has anyone had these subs before and know how they perform? My amp is an AQ1200D I need help with a box as well. I may end up making one but I'm wary of that since I've never made a sub...

    Overheating/Power Loss?

My alternator was bad, good call. I replaced it myself and the car's power system is much better. The sub's are still disappointing, they are gonna get replaced. Probably 2 AQ SD2.5 15's. Should be a good fit since I already have a AQ1200D amp.

    Overheating/Power Loss?

I figured that was the case since the amp is mono. Should I have the subs on 2 ohm or 4 ohm? I would guess 2 but I may be wrong. With the way I have them wired how many amps are they getting? If my alternator is good when I get it tested tomorrow what else should I try?

    Overheating/Power Loss?

Each sub has 1 positive and 1 negative wire going from the terminal its connected to into the amp. The amp of course has 4 spots, so each wire from the sub has its own spot. Trying new subs is not a good idea as I just got these ones. If that was a feasible option I'd be trying a new 2011...

    Overheating/Power Loss?

I'm not sure about how many ohms they are wired to. I have them wired with a separate set of speaker wire to each sub. The amp has 4 spots, 2 negative 2 positive for speaker output. Each sub is wired to one of each. I am also unsure of what checking the dc resistance of the subs is. Sorry guys...

    Overheating/Power Loss?

Thanks for the replies guys. I definitely thought that I was just getting accustomed to the volume at first. Now I can tell it is significantly lower and it's not just my hearing. I really think that your second guess about system voltage is the issue. I have a new battery, recommended one for...

    Overheating/Power Loss?

I installed 2 Infinity 120.9W's into my '93 Chevy Caprice last week. They sounded great for a week. They still sound ok but now they do not get as loud as they used to. It's like they are not handling enough power to be loud as they should anymore. It's also as if they don't hit all the notes to...

    2 Infinity 120.9w's need amp?

That amp does look nice. I may just grab that unless anyone has a better idea. The sub's are recommended to be in a 1.0 cu ft box when it's a sealed box. I'm probably just gonna buy a box, I really don't feel like building one. Where can I get a nice quality box for the Sub's?

    2 Infinity 120.9w's need amp?

Thanks for the replies guys. I would like to spend no more than $300 on the amp. Most I can go is $350 really. Can someone recommend some good ones? Overheating will be an issue since I live in Texas (112 degree days).

    2 Infinity 120.9w's need amp?

I am pretty set on buying 2 Infinity 120.9w's to put in my 1993 chevy caprice. I would really appreciate some help choosing a good amp that will get the most out of these subs and not overheat. I already have 4 gauge wiring in my car and a Kenwood KAC-9105D 1800 watt amp. I am probably going to...
