Oh, it had the original 170 6 cylinder and *****. in it, so your car actually has more go to it than it did... LOL, it didn't matter if you had it to the floor or were just barely using the gas it accelerated the same.

Ok, so here's the deal. I am building a down firing box to go under my back seat and I was wondering if I need to cut an opening below the woofer on the sides of the box to let the sound escape or if it will even make a difference if I leave the sides solid? Any help is appreciated guys.

240's are getting hard to find with the drifting scene picking up like it is... even the ones that are in bad shape are selling pretty high (for the shape they're in). Not sure you would be able to pick one up too easily.

Do the work yourself if you are worried about the paint costing too much. Body work is really easy, it just takes time. As long as you take your time, taking apart and reassembling a car is cake too. You can take the car apart and get everything jambed then do the body work and get it painted...

Yeah, right now I have a IVA-D300, but I will be upgrading to a D310 as soon as it makes it back from being repaired. The processor is the Alpine processor made for these units so the setting will be onboard. Model number is PXA-H701.

Okay, thanks for the help. I am actually looking at the sound processor made for my HU right now... right now I have 2v preouts, and this will upgrade it to 4v preouts.

What exactly are you saying? The mid-bass isn't clear? You can't compare anything but the mid-bass with the coaxles right now, doing that right now is like comparing a bicycle with a motorcycle... it is missing a VERY important part... basically you have half a speaker right now, so it won't...

I do hear a little bit of noise when there is no music being played, but I think that is coming from my RCAs. I had to make due with a set of $8.00 RCAs when I installed the amps, but I have 2 sets of Streetwires Zero Noise 6 RCAs on the way as of Friday, so I will have to see what that does...
