Still looking for some feedback on this - and to further convolute my options I've identified a single enclose that will allow my 1.25cuft if I so opted.... Still believe I really prefer to stick with the 2 driver box though.

I've currently got a JL HD1200/1 running with input sensitivity set fairly low feeding a JL 12tw3 (shallow mount) 400rms driver. I wired the driver, which is a dual 4ohm voice coil, to be an 8ohm load so that the amp would effectively be feeding it in the realm of 600rms rather than the 1200rms...
