Do the subs distort at high volume. I am looking for a pair of subs or a sub that will sound good and clear and not distort at high volumes. I have 1400watts rms to work with.

Well by clipping I mean the amp is shutting down at high volumes and no music comes out untill I lower the volume..

Sorry I ment high pass and I already set the gains to the lowest and the amp still clips at high volume..

I checked that and it is correct, the crossever on the amp is set to full range.. P.s. Does having the polarity on the speakers or the crossover really make a difference?
