I absolutely love my single 12" CVX. I never knew a single sub setup could be so loud. I'm running my CVX off a Kicker 750.1

Well if the 8awg is too small for the 750.1 then I'm not going to just settle for it. I'll just run another cable for the second amp. Also is 4awg even enough for both of these amps?

Well I got my 12" CVX and my Kicker 750.1 amp about a month ago. I am very impressed with this little sub. It nearly matches the output of my 15"s on the lows, and surpasses my 15"s on the highs. I am in love with this sub, I'll never buy another CVR again.

Right now I have a Kicker 750.1 amp in my trunk running of a 4awg to the batt. I am going to be adding a Kicker 250.2 amp in my trunk in the next couple of days. I want to get a distribution block so I only have one cable going to the back. The only shop close to me only had 4awg to 2 8awg...

Whatever you do don't buy those Pyramids! My stupid buddy bought a pair maybe a year ago. Blew the dust cap off the second day. The box was within recommended size, its just a horribly made sub.

Forever? The CVXs just came out a year ago. I know the CVRs last, I've had mine for three years. And before that I had Comps for two years.

One last question, I'm going to be running it everyday and all day long. Is this a good set up for a daily driver? I want my kicker to last me a couple years like my 15"s did.

Polecat, or anyone else with experience with the subs. What size sealed box should I go for with a Kicker ZX750.1? I saw in the manual that with the max size sealed box the RMS rating for the CVX is 300w, and the minimum size 750w. Is there a "Butter Zone" size for this sub? The size I'm looking...

I've had kickers for the past 5 years. I think they are solid subs and very durable. Durability is more important then SQ to me. You also can't beat the price, I'm getting a 12"CVX for $180. If I were to get another sub it would probably be a JL.

I'm thinking about selling my two 2005 Kicker CVRs, and with the money get one 2007 15" or 12" CVX. I bought my CVRs in 2005, and at the time I wanted more SPL since I listened mostly to rap. Now I'm very into reggae, and reggae is more SQ bass. I love how my 15"s in a ported box hit the lows...

Is that the same for the Jensen VM9511TS, I'm prolly getting that one.
