    '65/'66 Mustang Coupe audio build

Man that is nice. I'm still waiting to get the car into the shop for the body and paint, then I can start working on getting everything installed. I've got the trunk floor pieces done, the sub box built and covered with the dark gray replica plaid they used for the trunk liner back then...

Good advice about the trolls... :) So what I'm after is good loud sound, with enough bass that you can feel but doesn't rattle the entire car apart. The only thing I'd consider is speaker pod kick panels. That said, I'm putting in the Morel Nano Carbon for that area (which will not need a pod...

    '65/'66 Mustang Coupe audio build

Posting here to see if anyone has built a high end system on a '65/'66 Mustang coupe. I'm looking for ideas, what people have used, speaker placement (pods, doors, flat kick panels, package tray, dash top, subs, etc.). Photos would be much appreciated, esp if you've customized the trunk. Thanks!

Sub wiring, Ohms, and RMS... oh my

So this could be a basic question, however what's the consensus in taking two 4 ohm subs, wiring in parallel to drop them to two (and a mono feed), and then having a mono channel amp run them at 2 ohms. There's a reason for this madness? I'm just not sure if it can or "should" be done. Reason...

I'm trying to keep this as stock looking as possible in the cabin (that's why no speaker pods ) I'll be using OEM speaker grills in the doors and hopefully the kick panels as I've seen those placed there before. I have dynamat for the body and boommat for under the headliner, so I think I'm...

    '65 Mustang recommendations

Hey all, new to the forum here and I'm trying to get ideas from people who have done high end installs in a classic Mustang, without tearing up the dash, doors, using speaker 'pods' in the kick panels, etc. It's a fastback, and so I'm not adverse to drilling the trap door for pass through...
