Looking for subwoofer recommendations for an sq setup.

Hey guys I really don't know much about who makes the best sounding subs. All I know is alpine, kicker, and big name brands like that. I've heard good things about image dynamics and phoenix gold and sundown but I really have zero clue. What I'm looking for would be preferably a single 12" setup...

Best way to reduce engine noise?

Well I got about 85% coverage of noico butyl sound deadener in my trunk. 18 sq feet and I'm kind of bumbed I added almost 20lbs of weight to the car and really all it did was take away some of the outside vibration. I don't hear any kind of difference sitting in the car. Ugh Sent from my LG-H918...

Best way to reduce engine noise?

I was on home depot and saw for 56$ I could get a 100sq foot roll of "Acoustical Recycled Fiber Underlayment" which looks like what a lot of cars use as insulation from the factory. I'm sure it wouldn't work as good as mlv but its nice and lightweight and cheap. Has anyone every used something...

Best way to reduce engine noise?

Haha, headers, forced induction, pushrod motor. Ya its freaking loud. What can I use to deaden the hood that will hold up to the very excessive heat? Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Best way to reduce engine noise?

is there any brands you recommend? There's a mlv made by "trademark soundproofing" it's gotten really good reviews for car audio and similar installs on amazon but holy cr*p 70$ for only 16 square ft Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Best way to reduce engine noise?

Hey guys I ordered some sound damper to do my trunk and other trouble spots that rattle but over the past couple days I've been driving around with my stereo off to listen for what kind of road noise in getting and as far as I can tell 80% of my extra noise is all engine. So what's the best way...

Best lightest weight way to seal door holes?

Hey guys I was going to pick up some sound deadener stuff and I'm looking for best reasonable cost stuff. Preferably something amazon sells since I have a 115$ credit there. There's "noico" "Fat Mat" "NVX mat" and the super expensive dynamat. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Best lightest weight way to seal door holes?

The only problem with that is I have a grand prix which is notorious for broken window regulators. So I've changed both window regulators twice in the past year and a half. So it would have to still be. Somewhat easily accessible. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk   ---------- Post added at...

    Do component speakers run parallel?

I googled picking speaker size wire and I think it was a post from crutchfield. They had a little table that recommended the size of speaker wire based solely on distance and ohm. They didn't measure whats at all. I've also ready a couple other places that you need to run bigger wire if running...

    Do component speakers run parallel?

Hey why does oem load make a difference when picking the size speaker wire your using. Like I know you need bigger wire when running lower ohms but I thought the lower the ohm the less resistance so shouldn't it be the opposite? Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

    Do component speakers run parallel?

Ill try that when I get off work. I personally never minded having the sub play a little higher but I also use to fade my rear louder then my fronts until I learned most people do the opposite so I've been trying a whole bunch of different setups. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
