Is the display readable in sunlight? That seems to be a problem with a lot of radios, even stock radios are easier to see in sunlight a lot of times.

What is active capable? I can't get over that PICO fuse.

I want smething a little more inexpensive, with a remote, 22 watts RMS x 4. I like some of the features my Kenwood has, don't like the problems it has. What problems did you have with the JVC?

I upgraded the PDC because it was old and worn anyways and the bigger wire might help with voltage / resistance / lights dimming a little. The cables look good though, right?

I'm confused. You plug the amp positive on the battery positive. if you plug the amp positive onto the PDC idk what would happen, it might make lights dim worse, etc. I don't think I'm understanding what you're trying to say, sorry.

You mean plug the amp power onto the spot where the PDC gets its power?

My dad installed it, I watched basically. It wasn't his first time installing a radio, and he's a mechanic so I figured I could trust him. I wish we knew you could buy an adapter so you don't have to cut the wires though.

It's a single din. I remember I wrote a review on sonicelectronix and it was $260 when I got it. I can't remember who I got it from, either crutchfield or sonicelectronix...
