All of a sudden, everytime I turn off the key, my amp still has current and my subs "pop". What could cause this?

make sure you arent crossing any wires....i wouldnt run your sub wires on the same side of the car as the speaker wires because you dont want them to touch

i'd use both cause if the LPF in the HU doesnt work that great the amp wil lblock the highs from your subs anyways just as a precaution so you dont ruin the subs

you would get the same wire as what it already is....any gauge would work prolly but try to get the same size. Go out an buy some 18 gauge (the wire is prolly around that size)....or just match it up if you can a butt connector would prolly work too..you dont neccesarily have to twist the wires...

why not put the bass boost on?

whats the best way?? How will i know the wattage instead of the voltage?

isnt there like a wattage dial that i can control how much my amp puts out?? Kind of like a volume or power dial?

im not sure what all the dials mean exactly and how much to turn them up....like there are 2 dials for frequency, one is for voltage i think and there are others. What should i set them at?? I have 2 ed K's .44.

how do you wire them then....my amp say 400 x 2 at 2 ohms....that means each channel is 2 ohms right?? thats what im going for..
