    Cannot figure this one out...

Okay, so it is just one sub, and i tried switching amp channels, so it is the sub. and it sounds like if there was something rattling on the inside of the magnet almost. It happens roughly once per cycle and its only audible on lower frequency's. Free air, the sub flexes and seems to function...

    Cannot figure this one out...

I was gonna try that in the morn, but when its all off, i can push the cone in and out no problem, doesn't grind like its blown, doesn't smell blown either

    Cannot figure this one out...

Ok, so I have four 12's, in two boxes with two amps. one amp, sub, box set sounds fine. the other sounds fine until it hits lower notes. it sounds just like the trunk rattling, exept its coming from inside the box. I dont think it could be the speaker wire resting on the bottom of the box, because...

    slot port divided

you also have to think that your not just doing (port length)/2. you should be doing ((port length)-(width of wood))/2

Can you use an ohm resistor to get the ohm load you need?

    any suggestions? the amp runs 1200 Watts RMS x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohms Bridged 500 Watts RMS x 2 Channels @ 2 Ohm Stereo 300 Watts RMS x 2 Channels @ 4 Ohm Stereo

Can you use an ohm resistor to get the ohm load you need?

I need to get to 4 ohms, or 2x2ohms with 4 DVC 4-ohm subs. Can I just wire down to 2 ohms then get a 2 ohm resistor??

    New 4.3" touchscreen headunit help!!!

theres 3 RCA outputs, red, white, and green. obv red and white are L and R, green is woofer. but, to run to my amp, would I use the L and R or split the woofer output and run that to the amp?

    4 subs, one box, followup

how is that "gay" in any way? they are 12"s, I'm using all the space in my trunk as efficient as I possibly can. figure out a way to use 36x33x15 any better with four 12"s (LxWxH) and you let me know. they require 2 cubes each.

but wont it just hold the air in place to a point, completely ruining the point of the port?

2 ports parrellel to eachother, ok?

15tallx33widex36deep Wall to wall to 39" And if I just made one port, but bigger, I dont think the subs would cancel, It'd be just like facing two subs at eachother, right?
