New a solid amp to power these JL Audio CS212RG-W1v2-2 (cs212rgw1v22) - Non-Amplified, Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure Systems - Sonic Electronix . Can you guys recommend anything in the 200 dollar price range that will work well?

Right now I have a single ported 12 but am thinking of swapping it out for 2 12s sealed.. Will this upgrade cause extensive battery drainage? Also will I be able to use the old wires?

I have a Sonata with a decent sized trunk..currently I have the sub/port facing up towards the top of the trunk with the amp still on the ground.It sounds good but i would like the amp in a permanent position.

Not sure what happened recently, everything had been working fine with my JL1300 sub/amp combo hitting quite nicely. Then all of a sudden when i turn the volume past ten the sound starts to get all distorted.. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
