    Take more?!?

Yup, sure can. I was thinking 3k for the pair. Headroom is nice and if I smoke them maybe some v2's or ?

    Take more?!?

Definitely not clipping them!!!! And I would say they aren't close to their xmax. Only reason I went with then is depth limitations, under seat in a truck.

    Take more?!?

2-10" SA Classics on a RF Prime 1200.1. 1/0 ofc to distribution block and 4 gauge to the amp. I set my gains correctly but I really feel these subs can handle way more. Running at 1 ohm so they are seeing right at RMS. How much can they take? They are in about 1.25'/sub and it's "tuned" to 38hz...

    Headliner deadening?

It's a 2017 Ram 1500 crew. I guess I will have to figure a homage remedy out. I love the truck but man they are not conducive to big stereos!

    Headliner deadening?

So, the front of my headliner in my ram really gets after it when I am pushing the subs. It's the plastic up there by the windshield. How do I deaden it? Simple question but I really don't wanna have to try and pull the whole headliner!!!! Thanks

Advice on new system for 2017 RAM 1500

Crutchfield is your friend!!!! Look at the Kenwood Excelon 6609 "component" set for fronts and a 6x9 coaxial for rears. 230ish a set for the 6609's. A decent class d 4 channel can be had for 200ish to power fronts and rears, kicker amp would be fine. That's the set up I run up front and rear...

2015 RAM 1500 deciding on which amps?

I have almost 750 a piece going to 2 10's. If you are doing the sealed 1.0ft3 box displacement of that sub is .12ft3. That leaves you .88ft3 total volume, I would go with a 10". Also, if you go with the 12 I would put more than 500 to it because of box volume. It's gonna take some power to get...

2015 RAM 1500 deciding on which amps?

I am having no issues pushing that much to my front with the factory wiring. Well at least 75 watts each side. I think the birthsheet showed over 100 but don't remember the exact number.

2015 RAM 1500 deciding on which amps?

Forgot to mention, I did not meter the final load on the front chan els at the amp. I just assume it's 2 ohm!!!

2015 RAM 1500 deciding on which amps?

That's exactly what I did. Ran 6x9 and 3.5 parallel for each front side to the front 2 channels. Unless there's a resistor somewhere in the factory wiring that's a 2 ohm load per side. The door and dash are on the same set of wires in my truck.

2015 RAM 1500 deciding on which amps?

2 ohm helps get them loud enough to compete with the Sundowns. Those little subs are loud in the fox box.

2015 RAM 1500 deciding on which amps?

I have a '17 ram and I run 2 amps. For the fronts I have kenwood 6x9 woofers in the doors and their 3.5 coax in the dash. Rear fill is alpine 6x9's. Fronts are running at 2 ohm off the rf prime 300x4 and the rears are 4 ohm off the back channels of that amp. Subs are 2-10" Sundown SA Classics...

    Ram 1500 alternator

2-10" sundown Sa classics wired to 1 ohm. RF birthsheet said 1497 watts at 1 ohm. Pushing it hard it barely gets warm, love the prime amps, good bang for your buck. Fox Acoustics box, didn't really have many other choices in my budget but it does well with the 10's. Nevermind the messy wire, I...

    Ram 1500 alternator

So, my system is powered by a RF-R2 300x4 and R21200x1. 1/0 ofc to a block and 4 gauge ofc to amps. Grounded with 1/0 OFC off a block. My stock alternator is rated 270amps peak with a minimum of 170. No big 3 yet, it's on the list. Question, when I really push it the peaks drop my voltage to 12...
