dont use body filler, it might pop! abs and other plastics expand/contract with heat and filler doesnt. go with the duramix. You dont need the mixing gun if thats whats turning you off.

they wouldnt protrude out further, and chances are the glass is going to separate from the plastic and thats an uglier seam, unless you rough the whole bottom section of the panel with some 80 grit and glass the entire section.

that might turn into a real headache. I like the no seam look also but its best to glass some bolts/studs as a part of the base and just have them removable.

o dam 5 cubes is a pretty big box, chances are youre only going to see the front face of it so why not make a box thats MDF except for the front? Theres no point in a full glass box in this application, plus you would be elimininating 75% of the work right there. You can have your MDF slot port...

Im guessing you want a flush mounted sub but dont have a router/circle jig so youre using a jigsaw but its hard to get a perfect circle with that so you want to fill some spots? they will all get the job done. If you dont want to sand alot tape up the sub and drop it in the ring, screw it in...

is that the one for rigid or flexible plastics? either way is should be easy to sand. Not sure why youre using it though?
