components have a separate tweeter and a (midrange speaker or midbass) depending on the brand. They come with a crossover which separates the frequencies to each speaker(tweeter and midrange) which gives it better clarity.

I have ordered 2 cd players from crutchfield and a pair of 6x9's. They have best service that i have ever experience, i blew the 6x9's and i sent them back and i got them replaced no questions ask. their service easily outweighs the price
