I have thethe JL set, and while they get loud and sound pretty good I was very dissapointed in the woofer. Mid-bass was very lacking in mine. The 4's are a little harsh at upp vocal range but i was bale to clean em up with the eq. On rock music and more vocal kind stuff they sound great but...

Water's fine for testing...like homeboy said its gonna leak out, no sense in spillin coolant all over the ground. wouldnt leave water in it though after repairs

More than likely, a pinhole in one of the heater hoses or water pump bypass hose. Also the thermostat water neck is kinda prone to rustin through from the inside. Best thing would be to try and rent a pressure tester from pep boys, checkers etc.. and pressurize the system and then look for where...

yea, Im thinkin thats what happened....like I said I did have em bridged which is about250w, so you couldnt get knob happy...i left it there so the thing wouldnt get stolen and end up with this instead..lol I really wanna try a different mid bass than the JL cuz I wasnt too happy with the bass...

PART 2!!!!! Ok so after you guys help I decided to redo and found 30hz just aint gonna happen. So new box is just under 35hz same original dimensions ( 16.5x19x16 ext) but new port is 1.75x14.5x33 and after acounting for all wood and stuff I get a port disp of .87 so this should leave me right...
