Yea you need to keep that amp to 2 ohms and you need to get those door speakers off of that amp ASAP. Like gary said, for now you should run your door speakers off of the head unit.

That amp is a subwoofer amp and isn't designed to be running speakers. Its possible that you blew those speakers trying to send them hundreds of watts off of that JBL. Just to double check, you have two subs plus speakers wired into the amp?

Switching the red and white RCA's could determine if there is a problem with the RCA's or head unit rather than the amp. If you swap rcas and then your passenger side speaker stops working and the drivers side starts working then the problem isn't in the amp.

Have you tried switching the L/R RCA's to see if the problem switches sides?

Does the speaker still crackle with the rca's disconnected? Have you checked the speaker wire for breaks as well as the connections at both ends?

Well I won't argue with a clamp test haha. Proper clamps as in Voltage*Current rather than the Voltage^2/Resistance method right? I suppose its possible that the vfl isn't fusing the entire input current but rather a portion of it.

I'm curious as well how this amp can possibly make 2k+ watts if its only fused at 120A? Being generous at 15V the absolute maximum rms wattage this amp could put out is 1800 watts. Thats even at 100% efficiency.

are rca's $20 per or for all three?
