What bass to choose for 335i

Dude I got a 2011 328i M-sport. To answer your question. Depends on HOW MUCH BASS you want. If you just want a "bit more punch" than the factory system. Than I would say add a seperate mono subwoofer amp.. and replace the stock subs with some 8' earthquake subs that are pretty much GREAT fits...

mid level amps i.e. ppi, planet audio, ss tarantula etc etc

The other posters have given you some good info. But If I understand you correctly when you say budget mid level build. I assume you mean getting a box, subs, amp, rear speakers, components upfront, headunit for say $1K correct? Headunit: Kenwood Amps: Skar Audio, Powerbass, PPI Speakers...

    E30 BMW subwoofer recommendations?

Dude. you aren't going to get bass out of what you have. If it where me I would ditch the subwoofer and amp. I would also replace mids and highs. Get a 5 channel amp. $150 PowerBass ASA 700.5X (ASA700.5X) 5-Channel Amplifier Upgrade your mids/highs. 2 sets of these $140 for (4) Polk Audio...

Help? Can a 15" sub with the right enclosure handle double-bass metal AND do Hip-hop?

BOOSTD92, Man, you aren't getting the bass you desire.... simply because you do NOT have enough power nor the right type of sub/enclosure. I did all the research your amplifier. its 500 watts MAX @ 2ohms So you do not have a much power to feed teeth rattling bass. No diss here... just trying...
