Does any one own any of the flax subs or listen to them in someone s ride? If so what type of enclosure is being used and how does it sound in terms of sound quality?

I'm trying to find a magic box for this 12 sub. Would like to go ported.I have tried 1.75 @ 32 hz and a sealed 1.25 both with Rockford 500 bdcp but not real happy with either. Also I can't find the specs on driver displacement anywhere . Does anyone have any experience or thoughts with this sub?

Update i went with 2 dayton ho`s about a month ago and have been very pleased with them.very nice[smooth] sound quality and they get decently loud as well.I have used these in my truck and inside for HT use. keeping these for life.Thanks for all the advice guys...this is an awesome forum.

Thanks Blazian87,the dayton hf does look like it would work.I current have 2 dayton ho 12 s in a smaller ported box and love them for car and for home.[they are next to my bed at ear level even as we speak] that Dayton Ultimax looks killer.Its dual 2 so i`d have to wire to 4 ohms for my os rf...

Yes Inferno333, these are the two i`m interested in. I prefer a 12 in that will work well in a larger enclosure @29 hz with 500 watts 4 ohm or 1000 watts 2 ohm. I`m open to any suggestions ....200 bucks give or take is my price range.

if no one has used the newer version what about earlier versions of the dayton titanic?
