My friend just bought two mtx 12" SVC 4 ohm 4500s. He has a rockford fosgate 401s (a 2 channel amp). I am confused, how do i wire these to get the full 400 watts out of the amp? Or is there no way, and he is screwed?

I see. It will make a noise when i first turn it on but it just doesnt go "thump" then stop. Itll staticaly rumble for like 6 seconds then stop when i change the song.

But would a ground wire be the cause of all these scratch bumps that are going on?
