im a newb,, wuts the diffrence between a 50htz tone and a -3db 50htz tone? its not as loud the volume ? whats the best to use

thanksssssss my amp comes wit 15 and 30 htz i think im gonna put it on 15 to be safe

does it mean when certain tones wpnt hit and be blankkk

well i been reading that this is suppose to protect ur sub from being damaged in ported boxxes. does this mean if i got a ported box i would be stupid if i didnt have it on ?

i just bought the one for the type x was wondering if neone knows what alpine tunes their boxxes to? the box isnt even on their site

well i would ummmm, not build ur own unless u know what your doing i built a sealed box and a week after i went to buy the alpine ported box and way better results anyone have a clue what the alpine type x boxx is tuned too ?

well i changed boxxes from my ghetto home made sealed to alpines box which is way better when i changed it out the guy said he can smell the coil was burnt a lil, and said it was because the boxx was too small for the sub (which was to specs ) what i wanted to know if it should be ok now, and...

i have the same problem wit my type x i grew out of rap and listened to alot of techno house but the sub dont ppound as much i did sum reseach tho and apperntly l7s n type x are great with lowbass but **** on higher bass i think midbass can fixx it tho im not sure
