My dad wants to get some new speakers for his 2002 f-350. i was on crutchfields website and it looks like they are 6x8's or 5x7's all the way around. he wants to hook up an amp to his new speakers too, which i have never done a setup like this. it is all going to be hooked up to his stock ford...

after u push on the cone it works again? was the cone just stuck and you had to break it loose? I am still confused about how this voice coil got "burnt" there were no signs of anything going wrong on it, it just quit working. I bought this sub off of an ebay store, who doesnt have a warranty...

I have checked the wiring and everything is fine. my other sub is workin just fine, i tried switchin the subs and the good one worked on either side. so the wiring is just fine. it was workin great for about a month, and i just noticed only one sub was running. I didnt hear any noises or...

ok i deffinitly have my subs wired completely wrong, i gotta connect one positive to one negative of the voice coil on the opposite side. I have no idea what i was thinking when i hooked it up.

ok i have two DVC infinity reference subwoofers. it said 2-8ohm on woofersetc.com where i bought them. I wired them at what i thought was a 2 ohm load, which is what i want. infinity didnt send me any wire diagrams so i went to crutchfields diagrams and found out how to, i hope i read them...

I installed a 1000 watt two channel kenwood amp, with two infinity reference DVC subs and it was up and going for about 10 minutes and blew the fuse. I put another one in and it did the same thing. The inline fuse on the power wire is fine just the fuse on the amp keeps blowing, any reason why...

they blow when i am installing them. I had a guy tell me that it was a bad ground, but i checked that out and it looked fine to me. When we installed everything it worked good for about a half hour before it blew the fuse. but what should i look for to find the short?

I just hooked up some inifnity subs and a kenwood 1100 watt amp in one of my buddies cars, and he keeps blowin fuses in the power wire. We are running a 4 gauge wiring kit, and it had an 80 amp fuse. with the 80 amp fuse the stuff worked good for about a half hour, then we could only find 60 amp...

I am building a dual 12" sealed box, and i wasnt sure if i should make a chamber for each sub. Will it make a difference if i dont seperate the two subs in the center of the box?
