    Actuator Wiring Help

I bought a linear actuator (built-in limit switch) with a rocker switch to control it. I also have a PAC-TR7 to control the amount it opens and closes (from my understanding this TR7 can do this). I am trying to get it to lift the lid to display my amps (very lightweight). I also want the neons...

    12w6 Firing Down?

I am updating my system. I have the same setup as listed above (3 12w3v2 D-4's firing down) and am still looking to go to 12w6v2 D-4. My sealed enclosure is 48x15x18 and I still have the one 1000/1. Would this box and amp hit hard with optimal sound quality? Also, I don't know if these can be...

    Actuator Advice

Their sales person said the switch will stay in the position until it reaches it limit so you do not have to hold it down. I don't know what you mean by the limit switches... I just assumed they make it the actuator brake. No? There is just a black and red wire from the actuator.

    Actuator Advice

Control meaning the rocker switch? Here is what I ordered: 12" Stroke, 1"/sec Linear Actuator Rocker Switch Two mounting brackets SPDT Relay (hopefully to turn the neons on at the same time I press the switch for the actuator) They have a Latch Relay but the guy said I didn't need it... was...

    Actuator Advice

Thanks. I think I've figured everything out but this: I would like the neons inside the amp rack to come on at the same time I hit the button for the actuator to open the lid. How would I do that?

    Actuator Advice

I've done some calculations and I need about a 6" throw. So, if I purchase a 12", I can use the built in limit switch to cut it off at 6", correct? The 12" is the same price as the 6" so I might as well get that one... I also want to be able to just hit a button once (not hold it) and have it...

    Actuator Advice

I am finally ready to do this... 3 years later... same box. You can take a look at my box from my Gallery link. I have no idea where to start with this though... I've found actuators that have 4" and 6" strokes with built-in limit switches.... any suggestions?

    Alpine IVA-D310 + IPOD + XM

If I buy the KCA-420i and the TUA-T020XM, will both of these be able to connect to the IVA-D310? I mean, I know both use the AI-NET bus and there is only one AI-NET connection on the brain so how are you able to use both of those devices?

    Alpine IVA-D310 Serial Number Removed

I called Alpine and they said they don't remove any serial numbers and there could not be any repair made on the unit if it is sent to them. I guess I'll be sending the unit back...

    Alpine IVA-D310 Serial Number Removed

So I bought an IVA-D310 from ebay. The listing described the unit as "Brand New. Not Refurbished" and they had good feedback so I went for it. I just received the unit and the serial number has been etched off and the stickers removed from the brain, head unit and box. However, everything looks...
