No dimming. I don't think its a power issue because of it just cutting off a certain tweeter or woofer because if it was losing power it should probably make all the mids/tweeters fade and not individually.

I just installed a pair of eDi 6000's in some custom kicks connected to a Kicker kx250.2 which gives each side 85 watts a piece. The eDi's are 100 watts rms by the way. WEll, at first the left tweeter would just cut off during high treble parts and after you turned it back down and turned it...

Is it necessary to put fuses on the power wires after the distribution block ( 2 seperate fuses) if you have a fuse before the distribution block ( a foot from battery under the hood)? Also is it o.k to use a 5 guage main power wire that divides into an 8 guage power wire and a 9 guage power...
