what sub/box combo do you think has the loudest low freq output?

I use to have a JL 500/1 with a 12" Type X was pretty loud... no longer have it. But I think i want to get something a little louder what do you think i can find for under 300?

Right now i have a Type X 12' being powered by a JL 500/1 in a ported box that is claimed to get the most from that sub. I think it gets plently loud but, i feel like i want something with better SQ but can still crank when you need it, i don't need it as loud as the X would get.i sold my sub...

it reads ERROR-19 and wont work. what do i do?
